while i was studying to become a professional ballerina in my home country of ukraine, i faced with career-altering circumstances that inspired my search for a new way path in life. 

i moved to toronto to pursue a career in journalism and tell stories through multimedia communications. 

while studying at the ryerson school of journalism (now toronto metropolitan university), i worked with several print and digital newspapers and magazines. i covered a wide range of topics, from reporting about canadian military efforts in ukraine, to being the fashion editor at an online magazine. it was after graduating with a bachelor in journalism and politics that i began to witness how much social media was transforming every aspect of our society, especially the business sphere. i knew i wanted to be part of the action.

after that, i spent some time honing my social media marketing and graphic design skills while working for a digital marketing company, until i was ready to go out on my own and pursue my dream of being my own boss.
